The door openers may only be operated with direct current corresponding to the nominal voltage. Continuous contact (100% duty cycle) is possible.

Functions:
1. Operating current function (fail-locked): The door mechanism requires power to unlock. The door remains locked in the event of a power failure.
2. Standby function (fail-open): The door mechanism requires power to lock. The door can be pushed open in the event of a power failure.
3. Sensor contact: Door openers may have a zero-potential contact that senses whether the door is open or closed. This contact can be used by access control systems.
4. Latch adjustment: A door opener with FaFix has adjustable parts that can be re-aligned after installation. Heat expansion may be compensated easily by adjusting the alignment.
